Scenic Rolling Hills at Meadow View — Carolina Country Weddings

Alex and Layne met in California while visiting mutual friends. Sparks flew and after keeping in touch long distance, they decided to move to South Carolina to be together. During a trip that brought them back to where they first met, Alex popped the question. How romantic is that?!

Layne and Alex toured numerous venues in search of the perfect place to commit their lives to one another. It wasn’t until Layne came across a photo on Instagram that it all began to click.

“I saw this venue tagged on Instagram… We love the outdoor scenery and wanted a pretty ceremony site with a rolling hills view.”

They saw our Meadow View ceremony spot and it was love at first sight. With rolling hills, a gorgeous fence line and miles of natural backdrop as far as the eye can see, they knew this was the place to make their vows to one another.

Their favorite part of the planning process was being able to spread out decision making so as not to feel too overwhelmed. Doing a few things each month through our planning form and gradually being able to envision everything really made it an enjoyable experience.

The day of was a breath of fresh air, as Layne, Alex and their closest friends and family prepared for “I do.”

The fields were green, the trees still full leaf with tinges of color as Fall approached for their wedding day. Layne’s palette of whites, taupe, blush and fresh greenery with blue thistle accents was a simple yet elegant complement to her outdoor wedding vision. The rustic cross provided by the venue created a simple symbolic focal point to the naturally beautiful scenic backdrop.
