How It All Began

Before Carolina Country Weddings, this property was a beloved family getaway. We spent countless moments camping, hunting, fishing, celebrating holidays and getting away from the hustle and bustle of life. This (not so little) piece of heaven became the backdrop for many a cherished family memory.

Fast forward to 2013 and my daughter and future son-in-love wanted to have their wedding right here on the family farm! It was then that a spark of joy began in my heart for hosting weddings on the property. Close friends of the family then requested to be married on the property as well, and before I knew it, I was fully immersed in weddings. I didn’t want it to end!

I chose to start this business because it brings me joy, and I love sharing with others. I also wanted to show my children that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself. I began this journey as an almost empty nester and have had a few different job titles throughout the years, but, owning Carolina Country Weddings is the job I never knew I always wanted!
